World Mission Introduction

Beverley Minster (including its 3 daughter churches) aims to be a church which enthusiastically engages in local, national and world mission initiatives.
We actively support a number of people and organizations working in mission. Support mainly takes the form of prayer, financial provision and cultivation of personal links.
Our Bible study groups each “adopt” one of the organizations we support and learns about, and prays for, its work.
We support and interact with several Anglican Mission Agencies including:
• Church Army
• Church Mission Society (CMS)
• Church Pastoral Aid Society (CPAS)
• Crosslinks
• South American Mission Society (SAMS)
We also have links with and offer support to:
• Jacob’s Well (a Beverley based charity)
• Christ for All in Andhra Pradesh (an indigenous mission in South India)
• Betel Children’s Home (in Brazil)
• The Leprosy Mission
• Bible Society and
• Church Urban Fund.
Help is also offered to the local organizations:
• Credo
• Label of Love
• There is Hope
The Minster has also been active recently in setting up a strong link with:
• St. Peter’s Cathedral in Kabale and with the Rugarama Health Centre in Uganda.
